Pellegrini's days are numbered after Real loses to Barcelona 2-0. Barcelona's up three points with seven to play and would have to slip up twice with Real winning out to lose the title since they hold the tiebreaker due to winning both games.

 

Also, Messi's goal was his 40th of the year in all competitions. By comparison, Ronaldo scored 42 a couple years ago.
