I changed the draft to Sept 4 (Labor Day) at 1:45 PM MST (3:45 PM CDT). So far there are 6 teams. I would like to have 12 but original the draft time was late on a Saturday night . Yahoo draft times are slim pickings now.

after a few complaints of the draft time I want ahead and changed it, hope this works out Sorry if this time is worse for you but the pickings are slim and all that was left were early morning or middle of day. Unless we delay the draft to after the season starts.

There's currently an odd number of teams in the league. At least one more member is needed to have an even number by draft time next Monday.

I'm almost sure they do. Looking at the league settings, passing touchdowns and touchdowns are shown as two separate categories, each worth six points. I'm fairly sure touchdowns would include scoring touchdowns in any form (rushing, receiving, or kickoff/punt returns).

And my team will be king of the league. I'm off to a 2-0 start, and with Rex Grossman as my quarterback I can't be beat (except perhaps for the Bears' bye week). :D

I am now absolutely convinced that this league does not count receiving touchdowns.

Example: this week I have Plaxico Burress with 6 catches for 114 yards and a TD. 6 catches equals 6 points. 114 yards equals 11.4 points. My total points for Plax this week: 17.40. No points for the TD.

The commish needs to change this....

Are you sure it's a PPR league?

He's right, it could be that it's only receiving yards and not catches, and that you got 6 for the TD, instead of the catches.

I now believe as well that receiving touchdowns aren't included. A second look at this makes me think that what I earlier thought counted is actually defensive touchdowns (e.g. fumble or interception returned for a touchdown). Rushing touchdowns are specifically mentioned, but not receiving touchdowns. I agree that needs to be changed. One could actually get double credit by owning the quarterback and receiver from the same NFL team, but that's just how it is. It isn't fair, for example, if Peyton Manning passes for a touchdown to Marvin Harrison, for Manning's owner to get points but not Harrison's.

I changed the receiving TD's to be 6 points. That was my mistake. I am wondering if something happened when I changed the draft date. I originally thought it would be too late to change it. Sorry about the confusion. If there are any other changes that we would want to make to the stat categories I will set a deadline of games this week.

vI also changed ( Pass Yds points changed from '50 yards, 6 pts' to '300 yards, 6 pts' ). My intention was to give some bonus points for a good game and 50 yards passing is a gimme.

I could make the season start week 3 and make the first 2 weeks kind of a warm up/preseason. Basically wipe the slate clean. This would take a majority vote (at least 7, myself obstaining).

I am pretty sure that changing the draft date changed some scoring categories, I originally had some bonus points for long TD's but those categories can't be added now.

I'm fine with whatever the consensus is, but my preference would be to count the first two weeks. I joke about having a win stolen from me, but in all honesty I hadn't realized that receiving touchdowns didn't count at first and it didn't affect my strategy any. And I'd hate to lose my league-high point total from this week, which could come in quite handy if it comes down to a tie-breaker for a playoff spot.
