Bruce on WGN toeing the "company line," (yes, I realize he's not employed in any way by the Cubs or Tribune) saying that Hendry made out real well with Izturis. I can't blame him, it would be tough for him to go on there and blast the Cubs.

 

 

I still can't believe what a terrible move this was. We dump one bad contract, wind up paying for it, and pick up an even worse albatross contract.

 

Worse yet, we turned down two upper-level prospects, by Hendry's own admission.

 

Our only hope is that Izturis's career takes a HUGE turn for the better... ](*,) ](*,)
