Carpenter looks absolutely helpless with a bat in his hands. Those swings were horrible.

 

Z at 40 pitches through 2 innings though. He needs to cut down the walks.

 

Yeah, need another long inning against Carpenter here.....maybe get into the bully early on the Cards.

theory - because we hired a manager under the mistaken belief that he keeps his team motivated for 162 games a year. he leaves it to the players to motivate themselves, which they do quite well against the big rivals.
