Whoa, what happened there?! 1-2-3 ninth for Demp? Last out against the most dangerous hitter in MLB? Cubs didn't blow the game in some bizarre, excruciating way?

You know, after all the years that LaRussa has managed, you'd think he'd realize that our pitcher likely WASN'T throwing at his hitter on purpose, given that he had a 1-2 count on him and we obviously didn't want to put another guy on base with Edmonds coming up.

What a tool. Hope we put one in Poo-Holes' earhole tomorrow.

Cards 0-8 in Chicago (north side) coupled with 0-4 on the south side.

They must really hate the city of Chicago.

LOL, that's wrong on both counts.

Cards are 0-5 vs. the Cubs and 0-3 vs. the Sox.

I've seen 6 of those games live. Sheesh.

Wow...I have no idea where I got that from. I think I really need a job that requires me to work in the summers. My brain rots from June-August.

CUBS WIN!!!

Take that Tony LaRussa.

Hopefully Z goes after Pujols on Sunday. I'm thinking, after Z hits his second home run of the game, he'll tackle Pujols and beat him down after rounding first base.

Hahahahaha, classic.

^^ in the 7th, Novoa hit Rolen in the lower back. It was obviously unintentional, since the Cubs were holding a 3 run lead and there was 2 men on with 1 out I believe.

In the 8th, Looper hit Ramirez's behind with 2 outs and no one on base, trailing by 1 run. Ramirez took 1-2 steps towards the mound, started to slow down when Molina grabbed him and 'held him back'.

So when do games against real opponents start

Neither of them can hit. What's the difference?

In the 7th, runners on 1st and 2nd for the Cards with 2 out. Novoa hit Rolen between the letters on his back with a 1-2 pitch.

Looper came in to start the bottom of the seventh, retired the first two Cubs players, then drilled ARam on the first pitch with the bases empty.

And LaRussa called it unintentional after the game.

The difference is that Molina got more All Star votes than Barrett.
