Mark Prior could still end up being a great pitcher, regardless of his many problems. He's only 25, after all. I'll admit though, it is a funny caption.

Ryan Dempster not only had a save opportunity, but he also converted it. But it did take him 20 pitches and he gave up a walk and a hit.

 

He gets in a shot at the Cubs and a couple shots at Dempster in this caption.

Photogs don't write their own captions.

 

They do at every newspaper I've ever worked at.

 

I've always written my own captions. Granted the page desinger and editors can change the basic sturcture of the caption, but they weren't there so they can't change the information.

Well, they don't at the Tribune. LARGE newspapers have people that handle headlines and captions.
