seeing babies with Cubs clothing on makes me so sad, child abuse :(

Brian, I mentally "hear" your posts with Lewis Black's voice :)

Imagine the rants Lewis could get into if he were a Cubs fan ... I really think he'd keel over with a heart-attack.

Interesting that they pitched to DLee there.

Not to be a smartass, but it shouldn't be that surprising. Lee was out for a long time with a wrist injury. He barely had any rehab time, and he suffered some sort of setback, however benign, yesterday. Teams are probably going to force him to beat them before they give him IBB status again.

That's my point. If given the choice I'd much rather pitch to ARam expecially with 1B open. When you consider that the Brewers walked DLee 3 times yesterday, it seems that teams may be realizing that DLee came back too quickly from the wrist injury.

I know the tradition of not doing it, but... what's the big anti-ketchup thing all about?

That's what I was going for, the Cubs make me feel like Lewis feels about politics and such :D

I'm from Chicago and I like ketchup on hot dogs. Not at the ballpark though as they ketchup inevitably gets on my shirt since me and my beers are so cramped in the seats.

Oh and I'm fat.

podsednik's 11 CS of the year. boy, his speed is really a difference maker!

Funny thing is, he's probably the reason why the Cubs decided to go after Sucky Pierre.

I hope that if they go with the CF prospect route that the Sox went this year, it fares a little better.

Trading away their best CF prospect for a talented pitcher who hasn't been the same since he was ridden into the ground in 2003?
