Did anybody catch that Tony Campana montage played to the tune of Copacabana? That might be the highlight of this season to me. Video link would be appreciated.
Why does my brain insist that Duane Kuiper has some tie to the Cubs somehow? He hit his only major league homer off Stone, and it would get brought up once in a while during broadcasts.
I think Geovany has been dealing with this for a while. Several times over the past month Len and Bob have pointed out that sometimes after a swing and a miss, or a foul ball, Soto will shake off his hand as though he aggravated it a little.
Does he have the same movement on his fastball as he did when he was first called up? Looking at these charts his fastball had about 9-11" of movement a couple months ago. I don't know how accurate the mlb gameday pitch fx is, but on average he appeared to be getting about 5-6" of movement on the fastball yesterday. I didn't see any of Samardzija's "implosion" on tv, did anybody notice a difference on the movement of his fastball?
I know! Lou must have passed out as soon as they got on the Dan Ryan, and I don't know what exactly they google mapped, but when I do it tells me to take 65-465-74. Pretty straight shot.
Welcome to the forum! But, HOLY HUGE AVATARS, BATMAN (and bright obnoxious jackets...wow) Hahaha, come on, that jacket is worth the huge avatar, at least for a couple days.
Yep, Hendry is bad for not understanding stats IMO. We have had two postseason teams in five years, but not because of his cunning ability to recognize talent.
