I don't get the IBB. Sure it sets up a force, but Anderson can't hit anything.

That's because walks can't hurt you. Only hits can.

So 1st base is open and we pitch to Uribe, but put Anderson on base. Dusty is awesome.

 

Well to be fair Uribe is hitting what .230?

 

In June, Uribe's OPS is .847. He's been a different hitter in June.

Nice fundamentals guys....what a surprise.

 

what happened?

 

A guy hit a double and the runner from second scored. When the LF threw the ball to second no one was there. For some reason Walker was trailing Cedeno.

That's because walks can't hurt you. Only hits can.

 

That's the funny thing; according to the manager, walks kill us when our relievers give them up in late innings; they always come around to score. However, it's for the best that our hitters stay aggressive and swing at whatever comes flying toward the plate, no matter what.

Ummm, he's getting on base better not hitting. You pitch to him chances are he's not going to hit it he might walk because he's patient but they didn't even try to get him out.
