the bottem line is the approach to hitting by this Cubs team is flawed. Their pitching staff, completely sucks.

Thats all that needs to be said

You need to rearrange your thermometer, since the Wood reinjury has already happened, and we'll probably be swept by the Sox before Baker is extended.

I just stopped in...everything as expected...but really...who has the book...there has to be a rule in dustyball, kind of like obp in moneyball, that says you can never have your best offensive team on the field...

Why on earth to you sit Walker now that we've finally got Lee back? It makes no sense.

Oh, let's see...what will Dusty's excuse be for tonight???????????

Is Dusty to blame for anything that's happened tonight? This game has been about the pitchers (and our hitter's inability to score with RISP). Capuano's quick move prevents the runners from getting much of a lead so it's not like the hit and run is a good idea to stay out of the DP.

Maddux has now put this one out of reach at 5-0

It was out of reach as soon as Lee hit that 2 run homer in the top of the first.

2B isn't the problem tonight. We've gotten 3 for 4 from that spot. However, it would be nice if the middle of the lineup was hitting...
