I know JP Dellacamera said it, but I said it to my gf before. That goal hurts because Croatia played so well in the first half and were a couple minutes away from going into halftime tied and now they're down 1-0.

The workrate of Dado Prso has been immense but, unfortunately, when he's out wide he can't be in the box to get on the end of his crosses.

He does look a little chunkier than he should be. And aside from that one shot Ronaldo hasn't done a thing today. Unless he picks it up, he doesn't have a chance to get the all time World Cup goal scoring record.

btw, a friend of mine just reported that a 5Live commentator (BBC i think) referred to ronaldo as a "fat waste of s**t". :lol:

Croatia have played well enough to earn a draw, a better finishing team could have put 3 against Brazil right now. Brazil could have easily score 2 or 3 as well, but for the most part Croatia has done a good job limiting Brazil to very difficult scoring chances. The Kaka goal was brilliant.

 

I think the Chechs will matchup very well against this Brazil team, whenever they should meet.

Julie Foudy needs to be fired. She said that Brazil should be concerned because Ronaldo looked horrible. Um, Julie, the last time I checked Brazil is basically an all-star team, especially offensively. I'm sure they have another young striker (Robinho maybe?) that can come in and do a great job.
