It's not just that Zimmerman was a rookie last year, but also that he only had 58 ABs.

To add to this, when do we stop giving Aramis the benefit of the doubt? Why aren't people booing him yet? Jones gets booed all the time and tonight had something thrown at him by a fan. I went along with the "benefit of the doubt" argument as well as the "small sample size" argument and let it go. But where do you draw the line? Aramis has 130 AB's which is almost a quarter of a season. When do you start asking if something is wrong with him?

Are you serious? I sort of stopped paying attention to the Cubs for the past week, aside from SportsCenter highlights and box scores in the newspaper, so I'm asking because I don't know. Did that really happen? What was thrown? And did the guy get his *** kicked by the other fans?

It was a poor reaction to an action. The action was Jacque Jones getting doubled off 2nd base for the 3rd time in 2 weeks on a fly ball to left field that everyone in the stadium knew would be caught except for Jones.

The poor fundamentals of late has fans in an uproar. They seem to be getting worse as time goes on. Granted, that doesn't mean people should be hurling things at players, but it doesn't surprise me that it happened.

This team is awful. And people are expressing their discontent in different ways.

So, of the top 8, 3 havn't reached free agency (Wright, Zimmerman, Cabrera (And who wouldn't take any of them (Except maybe Zimmerman, do to lack of time) over ARam?)) and only Mora makes less. (Talk about a deal for the O's).
