Aramis singles.

His hit tells us that he is going to start trying harder at the plate and will now carry the team on his shoulders and be a leader in the clubhouse. :D

I really don't know what has happened to this team during the last week. Even after D-Lee went down, we fought hard. This entire team has collapsed against mediocre talent. I'm getting close to giving up on this pile o' crap.

This team is mediocre talent.

even with Lee, we'd be losing all of these games. The pitching is just not there and one guy can't carry your offense forever (even though Lee tried his best last year).

going to be 5 games out already...

I'd expect our rookie pitchers to struggle, but not Zambrano. And I'd expect our offense (and especially A-Ram) to at least score 2-3 runs a game. Unfortunately everyone decided to suck at the same time.

Do you think maybe it also tells us that some time this season he is going to break into a trot a little faster than my grandma could run??

PS ( may she rest in peace............which she is not if she can see these game.)

Last night Brenneman said Z was overrated because he hasn't won 20 games.

Now he's talking about Wood being overrated because he hasn't won 20 games.

Here's what I'm going to do. I'm not going to stop drinking until the Cubs score a run.

Better call the ambulance now and set an appointment for midnight.

After seeing the ERA of the new DBacks pitcher, I may be around for a bit.

Clearly you didn't know that we scored 1 run against a 6+ ERA starter and a 6+ ERA reliever yesterday.

My bad. I forgot.

Drat. And Good Eats is just about over.

Someone better call the Detox clinic ahead of time.

Nah, sign him up for clown college. Alcoholic clowns are funny.

Tell one of your friends to call an ambulance. You could be drinking for a while.

I can probably make until morning sometime before requiring hospitalization. But by that time i will at least have forgotten this 3 game streak.

One of the many reasons that tHom makes my list of top 5 people who I want to punch in the face. Spelling his name like a douche and wearing a Marlins cheerleaders outfit while broadcasting the NLCS are some others.
