There is approximately negative 30 percent chance that the Cubs score a run with the abomination that is Neifi leading off the 9th.

Let's recap here:

1. Dusty double switches at the wrong time.

2. Jones comes out.

3. His replacement, Mabry, misplays a ball Jones would have caught.

4. Three runs score in the 8th instead of one.

5. Mabry singles, but could have done that just as easily as a PH

6. Pitcher Dusty brings in on the double switch only throws one inning thus negating the need for the double switch.

7. Cubs only score two in the eighth

8. Neifi leads off the ninth.

Every time I see Eyre, I think of this guy.

Hank will hit one so hard, it will bounce off one of those buildings across the street, come back to him in the zone and he will put it on Kenmore. Thus, the first 2-run HR in the history of baseball where nobody was on base.

The key question is whether or not Barrett's finger is good enough to PH in the 9th...

He won't. They're not going to risk possible extra innings with Mabry behind the plate (presuming that Barrett is absolutely, positively unavailable to catch).
