I think he needs another year, though. I'd feel better biding time this year, and tell Pierre to hit the road when he thinks he's worth $9 mil per or more for a multi-year deal starting in '07.

 

How to get rid of JJ, though, stumps me. What possessed Hendry to give him THREE years???? Even Baltimore won't take that deal off our hands.
