How do the Reds with perhaps, the worst pitching staff in the NL, have two shutouts already?

 

Harang and Arroyo have stepped up thus far and Weathers is pitching well at the end.

 

plus the nationals and their huge ballpark are terrible

 

One of those pitching performances was against Carpenter in STL.

the one today was due in large part to the nationals being terrible, and their ballpark being huge.

 

 

edit: they have three shutouts...one of which was against the brewers in milwaukee...so maybe they aren't so bad

Nolasco had Blanco swinging out of shoes. I don't think I've seen a Cub hitter as overmatched as Hank was right there this season.
