I think he's trying to help him not take so many called strikes. I know there's the idea that they are trying to make him too aggressive but he looked too passive in that AB.

 

part of taking a lot of walks is getting caught looking at strike 3. it's not a bad thing. chasing garbage out of the zone is much worse - which is what sarge teaches. :lol:
