After you see him play a few times, I would like to get your opinion on Muyco. BA has mentioned that defensively he is already capable of being in the majors and from what I saw of him in Boise last year I would believe it. It will be nice to see if he can hit Midwest League pitching.

Daytona is in the middle of the 2nd inning and I've only gone to buffer hell once so far tonight. Gallagher has looked good through 2 scoreless innings. Announcers are complimenting the 1st out strikes.

In the bottom of the 2nd Craig works a walk after starting 0-2, goes to 2nd on a single by Salas. Salas gets picked off. Craig then goes to 3rd on a WP, and scores on a single by Simokaitis. Nice run creation.

 

Also, Jemel Spearman, after 5 K's last night, got a double in his first AB tonight.

Blackford K'd the first batter of the game, only hit 91 on his "high heat" though.

Blackford struckout the first 2 batters in the first innings, then allowed a hit on a 3-2 pitch and hit a man. Last out of the inning was on a 6-4 fielder's choice.

I believe that Blackford has 3k's through 2 innings so far. It's a bit loud here in my house so I'm having a hard time following the game. So far Blackford has had a very sharp curve, but his command has been a bit shaky.

 

Johnston sounds good defensively at SS, though he hasn't shown patience at the plate yet.
