Furcal got the day off so I'm still stuck at 0. :(

 

It's Mark Ellis tomorrow, then Murt on Sunday night to start a new streak.

I pick mine all at pretty much random, just grab a team that looks good to me, then pick the guy I've got a hunch about. I do it all a week in advance, so I'd be kicking myself if I changed it tonight then Jones goes on to get his first hit tomorrow.

I was so pumped for the start of the season that I completely forgot about this. I made my first pick...and then the game gets rained out, just my luck.

 

Btw, how do you change your username on MLB.com? All I signed up for was the fantasy part and they have my email as my username.

 

Edit: Nevermind, I think I figured out how to change it. I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see if it worked though.

After my original streak ended at four (thanks to Rollins' MLB streak ending), I'm now back up to two thanks to Aram yesterday and DLee today. I'm sticking with Lee again tomorrow.

Click on Register/Login at the bottom of rhe page and log in using your e-mail address and password (you can either do this from cubs.com or mlb.com, since they're linked). Then click on User Preferences, click on the Change button by Nickname, and enter your desired name. My guess is that you didn't enter a nickname when you registered, and therefore it displays your user name (which is your e-mail address) rather than a nickname.

For the record, I had Furcal, who didn't play, on Friday, then had Mark Ellis, who didn't play, on Saturday. Then Murton went hitless today. So Vladimir Guerrero and Johnny Damon better start mashing. MLB owes me one.
