I don't think I've heard Dusty say that the starting job is Cedeno's like that before.

When I see him in the starting lineup April through May I'll believe that Jon.

Through May? I'm just happy that he'll likely be starting through the first three weeks of the season. Anything more would just be a pleasant surprise.

It would be a travesty if he made the 25.

Pie lines out to first.

Mid 3, Cubs 4, Royals 2.

How's Williams doing, Vance?

Did well in the first. Had a little trouble in the second after the failed DP and gave up 2 runs. We'll keep up to see if he can rebound in the third.

Interesting that Baker let him (Marshall) hit. I understand that he wants the MLB pitchers to hit but to let Marshall hit might be a good sign that he might be considered a 5.

I've noticed this about Marshall. He has the stuff to be an effective middle of the rotation guy, potentially even a two with a number of teams if he progresses as hoped.

But he needs to work on his ability to keep focused. There's something to be said for consistency, ya know?

I feel the same way about Wood.
