Up high on the left arm. He's OK.

I hate a sac bunt after a walk. Make sure the guy can throw a strike. Make sure if he does throw a strike, it's not a fat pitch he's just trying to get over because he walked the last man. Glad it wasn't our cubbies doing that.

Mariners 3rd:

DH Casey Craig (late switch as M's use DH) strikes out

Vina grounds 4-3

Bloomquist flies to right.

Rusch seems to be crusing a bit now. Good to see it. How's he looking Bruce?

Actually pretty good. He's working fast and his command has picked up.

That's good to see. That's when he pitches his best when he works quickly.

yeah Bruce... have you heard anything knew on extending Lee, I heard that his agent was on the Score today and said that he won't go below Konerko's deal :(

Just like last year, Cubs only scoring when Lee and Ramirez knock each other in.

Last year, the first and second spots in the batting order (22.2% of the lineup), scored 173 of our total 703 runs (24.6% of the total runs).

Lee & Ramirez scored a total of 192 times, while driving in a combined 200 runs.

You wouldn't be exagerating a point there, would you ??

They continue to talk. That's about it. I don't think anything is imminent, but my gut feeling is that something gets done.
