I'm so happy for Raisin. I'm even more happy that I'm still breathing in my pools. (if everything falls perfectly from here on)

Anyone else think the refs missed two calls at the end that hurt Gonzaga? UCLA clearly reached-in on Raivio driving with seconds left. Then the UCLA player dives on the ball, slides across the floor, and no travel is called. I think the Zags got screwed pretty bad in the last five seconds. (DISCLAIMER: I could care less about either team, just my opinion on two bad calls in a game of questionable calls.)

That said, what great finishes in both late games tonight!

I don't think you can call a travel when the guy slides like that, especially at that point in the game. I don't remember a reach in on Raivio, but that whole thing was madness.

Someone go resuscitate Raisin.

i was rooting against ucla just because raisin was such a jerk last year about rooting for anybody but illinois

i hope the whole team shreds their knees before the next game

They probably won't beat Memphis. Although they will have a huge homecourt advantage.

I thought that a foul could've been called on Raivio when he just leaped on top of the pile.

The argument I would have made if I were Few is that the whistle for the tie up was about 1 second or so before the clock was stopped.

I couldn't tell if how long he had possession. Either way, it's a makeup call at worst for UCLA.

The reach was more obvious than the slide...his entire arm came across Raivio's mid-section. Refs may not call a travel on a play like that, but you can bet when/if that happens to my team this season the officials will hear about it, 5 seconds to go or not. I hate the mentality of "letting them play" and "refs shouldn't decide games" when thats not the way it is for 39 minutes and 45 seconds. A foul is a foul, a travel is a travel, 5 seconds into the game or with 5 seconds left.

That's just my humble opinion, and I know I'm in the minority here.

I just used the scenario generator on Yahoo and I can only win the NSBB pool if all my remaining possible picks are correct, and also LSU needs to beat Texas on Saturday. If any more of my picks are incorrect, I'm out. I'm probably already done in the Facebook pool.

If there's a travel called or a reach called, the ball is dead and Raivio's leap cannot be called as anything. However, I agree, if there was really no reach or travel then Raivio committed a foul.

Thing is though, I don't think you see that called at any time in any game.

I saw a reply on ESPN and didn't see a foul. Still don't know about the travel, but even the announcers said the officiating was one-sided (saying that and one foul was on the ground was pretty bad). Didn't particularly screw Gonzaga. It's likely the ball was bobbled.

That was possibly the greatest sports moment in my life not involving Michael Jordan. Apologies to Kerry and the 2003 Cubs.

I can only imagine - never seen ND advance that far.

That was a hell of a finish, and it saved me for now. :D

really got to feel bad for morrison/redick for the way they were treated this year. its not like they are bad people but for some reason they are hated because they are good :\ dont get it but whatever people get off on

Apparently you haven't read/seen what Morrison says and does on the court if you think he's not a bad person.
