I think the deep bench is a good idea. If you have a league of over 14 teams, sometimes a deep bench is needed to reward those who are paying attention. It allows people to take more gambles which allows for a fun league. I don't think a deep bench hinders trading, in fact sometimes it promotes it. It makes 2 for one or 3 for one deals more likely because the team getting the extra players has more room to stash them.

Is it possible to have this split into two leagues?

Teams are gonna be having guys like Marquis Grissom and John Mabry on them at this rate.

I played in a twenty team league once, and it was fun. You had to be on your toes, because even marginal starters were chosen. It also made those who could predict the unknowns who would step up and contribute important.

June 15 1963...

are you among the Cub's fans? Or are you awesome like me?

Someone didn't do to well on the analogies portion of standardized tests.

Is that referring to your disagreement with Cards fan is to awesome as Cubs fan is to...

or is the date of some significance?

In that case, it is you sir who struggle with analogies.

I love my team and set forth the plan I had from the start: steals are negatory, and saves are overrated.

Please step up, Travis Bowyer, Jose Valverde, Craig Hansen, and Rafael Betancourt.
