Does anyone know if Ronny Cedeno will play in the Caribbean Series? I think I saw Blanco's name but thats the only Cub I saw mentioned as playing.

I am pretty sure his team lost in the finals for the league championship, so he will not be playing in the Carribean Series

Well, it didn't go down particularly well last night, but I might as well, waiting for tonight's game (Venezuela vs. Dominican Rep.) to start.

 

Yesterday, again Blanco went 0 for 4, but with a walk which turned into a run. Simple Maths, he's batting .000 at the moment.

Well to be honest there is not much else going on. Some of us are deperately bored and ready to watch just about any competitive baseball. I guess since Blanco is our only Cub representative there we may as well root for the guy.

Congratulations to Venezuela; I enjoyed a lot of their games. Good to see Blanco coming up trumps in the end as well.
