nothing against their fans but do their dbs ever shut up? I mean they give up a 20 yard play and are still running their mouth. Now the refs screw seattle again.

No, I'd go with that. I'd like to think it was a tactic rather than the players they are.... I don't know, though.

I guess it isn't just me, but the refs seem to be making some bad calls against Seattle.

That (to me) is not a fumble. I'd not complain (clearly) but it would be very, very harsh.

Seattle seems to be getting SCREWED by the refs. Madden and Michaels are being very diplomatic, but it seems like the refs have just screwed Seahawks over and over.

They had a TD called back in the first half, the BS hold on the pass that went to the 1, even the BS illegal hit by Hasselbeck on the INT.

I'm not a Seattle fan, but it's a shame.

Agreed on all three calls. At least the reversed the fumble call.

the phantom hold completely changed the game. terrible call. the NFL needs to review the performance of the officials throughout the postseason. its embarassing.

Its been awful... really. I'm not immersed in the sport (this is the first time I've actually been able to see a full game this season; I'm normally on radio) like you are, but this is the first time I can recall so many calls being disputed, so many things going 'wrong' with the officiating.

Not good at all.

*I mean this season is the first time, not this game

That should have been a delay of game.

Just furthering the 'dislikeable' tag....

I really have no rooting interest in this game, though I can't stand Joey Porter.

And if they had called the delay of game and everything else had been the same, Randle-El would have been short of the first down.

 - I'm not too hot on Porter myself, to be honest.

Had they called the delay of game, the next play would have been different. Would it have made the first down? Probably not, given what had come before.

So in my short time watching the game, I've seen horrific officiating at crucial moments, nauseating commentary at just about every moment, and commercials I'd pay to have erased from my memory.

Pretty much just what I expected, actually. It's just a shame about the officiating.

I've been rooting for Pitt., but these refs have made it difficult to want to see them win.

I was cheering for seattle but either way I feel cheated. this game wasn't decided by the players alone.

The sad thing is the NFL will do nothing about these officials. I remember a couple of years ago when Berrian caught a TD against Detroit that was a clear TD that was called incomplete (or feet were out) and they challenged the play which was not reversed. The NFL commented later in the week that it was the correct call.

Horrible, how gutless the NFL really is. Between putting diapers on QBs and watching this crap from the refs, leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

Me too. I couldn't stand the trash talking by Pitt and Porter.

It's too bad. The Refs decided this game.
