i think he has a brand of salsa out there. also, i've heard from several that hes a very likable fellow. he seemed to hurt the cubs every year, had a few solid seasons if i remember right.

Think about it in a different way. Knowing the way Hendry has been acting lately, Bavasi probably could have gotten away with trading 2 mediocre minor league prospects (who would never see Safeco Field) in exchange for Todd Walker, and instead still chose to sign Fernando Vina.
