Indians signed outfielder Todd Hollandsworth to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.

The Indians really wanted to do better here, but Hollandsworth on a minor league pact is a fine signing. He'll probably be the team's fourth outfielder and receive the occasional start over Casey Blake versus right-handers.
