This coaching staff better get ripped to shreds by the media. Absolutely pathetic.

Oh yes. I expect Chico to get lambasted something fierce for interviewing all week last week instead of preparing a gameplan.

That was total crap. Grossman could have snuck in between the b and c gaps and gained 1 yard.

But the defense hosed us today. Tillman got exposed-he sucked all game, and Mike Brown is just soft.

The coaches didn't have them prepared for Smith, blew calls, blew substitutions...

what an unsatisfying end.

It was almost like the coaches didn't even know of Smith. Man, I know all were going to hear from Smith is how good he is.

Wanted for 2006-07 season:

A veteran quarterback

A cover corner

A tight end

A possession receiver.

Do your job Angelo.

Multiple OL.

The Bears won't be able to get a cover corner.

Jimmy Williams could fall with either a bad combine or character issues.

He's already slated mid teens down.

My List would be

Antwaan Randle El

Mercedes Lewis/ Edwin Pope (1 of them)

a good nickle-back (I think Vasher can be a #1 CB, and Tillman can be a #2. He sucked today, but from week 5-today he was good.)

Secondary depth.

I was shocked that they were too stupid to run it on 4th. No way carolina defends the run there, they'd be happy to see that time run off

off topic, but Steve Smith's endzone celebrations are lame. Not the fact that he does them, just what he does is stupid.

yes I'm bitter

that would not decrease the odds of at least one of us slamming their skull through a wall next season

They only had 3 on the line.

very disappointing game. I've heard people compare this team to the '84 Bears. I hope that true. All of the key people on defense are back except for Azumah, the majority of the mediocore offense is back. Let's hope this season is a step stoning to a monster 2006. I sure hope it doesn't turn out like 2002.

Just got back from seeing the game at the folks' house. Um, has someone been assigned to cover Smith yet who DOESN'T fall down?

And how about stopping with the 2-deep zone? How many 15 yard pass plays can one team give up?

And, yeah. See you in the playoffs in 2009

As you saw today Antwaan is a good posession receiver, and a very good punt returner. He isn't perfect, it would be nice if he fumbled less, but he is a realistic target who would be a big addition to our receiving corps.

Since Grossman was running the drill, that one is probably on his. That's an experience thing.

It's not just that. They never bothered to make adjustments to put two guys on him. How you can possibly justify putting Chris Thompson on him in single coverage is beyond me.

Tillman might be a #3, but he would still look confused on every play.

the media rip session has already started on Comcast. Rightfully so.

As long as it includes Ron Turner's baffling playcalling and Ron Riviera's nonexistent scheme, and does not include second guessing Kyle/Rex, let it commence.

I thought humping the goal post or whatever that was was really lame.

I watched the steelers every week but 1 this season and every week outside of december the past 2 seasons (if only during commercials during bears games). He makes dumb decisions constantly and will drop balls too often

they were talking mostly about coaching and lack of depth in the secondary. also the injuries, nothing about Rex. He is getting interviewing right now though...
