  1. Julius Jones. You might be better posing this question, however, closer to game day when people will have a better idea of Caddy's status. Sit Jamal Lewis. He stinks these days. I believe I heard the interim coach in St. Louis is gonna have a completely different game plan than Mike Martz (who could blame him?). I think Jackson gets 20-25 touches total, and puts up almost 100 and a score. I actually like the Rams to win this game. They always win games they shouldn't and lose games they should win. EDIT: Wait on the latter to see on Caddy's status. The first one should be Julius regardless, imo.
  2. The result would be the team to get all sorts of "small ball" guys. That's the result of a WS World Series. Dear god no.
  3. OT: but how did Tim Stauffer only get a 750 K signing bonus!?
  4. I wouldn't worry much if I were you. Its one week you're likely to lose. Shift Westbrook over to the second RB spot when he comes back from the bye and put in Jackson at the flex spot. You won't lose anything.
  5. You cannot be serious about this. Talk about your HS highly rated system QB's. RB ran a spread offense that was totally Brasic's forte in a terrible conference against awful competition. He was breaking Illinois passing records with a noodle arm and some awful competition. EDIT: I must keep in mind Illinois has had some awful QB'ing in the last decade, so this isn't as much of a stretch as originally thought. He's still bad.
  6. It was just an observation someone made. They hit well with RISP, thus why they were successful. Why is this having to be dissected to the nth degree again? Since they led the league in average, it makes sense they led the league in RISP average. Boston: .281 New York: .276 Tampa Bay: .274 Detroit: .272 Cleveland: .271 LA Angels: .270 :-k

  8. I think he was trying to pick all white players. I don't think its a racist move however. My team: Chris Paul Kobe Bryant Quentin Richardson Zach Randolph Pau Gasol Jermaine O' Neal Stromile Swift Erick Dampier Shaun Livingston Rashad McCants Luther Head Al Jefferson
  9. Answer to number three is Adam Greenberg.
  10. I wrote to some PSU fans that I hope they enjoy losing to OSU. Gotta give the devil their due. Penn State played tremendous defense. Both offenses were awful and that was a clutch play at the end on Troy Smith. Congrats Penn State Fans, you should be very proud of the effort set forth tonight. No shame in losing to the better team tonight.
  11. No contest. Brandon Lloyd by a wide margin. He might not catch a ball this Sunday.
  12. A freshman who is on the team this year? Probably Derrick Williams or Justin King. Derrick Williams, that is who I was thinking of. #1 overall on Rivals.com. Thank you. Like Ted Ginn, Jr., but better. I'd say he's only better because his coach gets him involved more. From an overall talent standpoint, I can't see how you could say Williams is better, given that Ginn could play as a shutdown DB as well. If he decides to pursue a DB spot in the NFL, I believe he'd succeed incredibly well. He's got great DB size and tremendous athleticism.
  13. REALLY don't want to know about that ;)
  14. Too bad Houston's line sucks.
  15. As a Tony Gonzalez owner, I sympatize greatly with those who wasted a high pick on him. What a dud so far.
  16. LJ Smith. He's in the latter of the TE's taken and he's producing elite TE like numbers thus far. Better than Gonzalez, Gates, Shockey, Heap, and Witten.
  17. If Dusty is the master of the ego stroke and getting the most out of his players, handling cancers, and all the other (allegedly) things he's great at, I'd take a flyer on both guys. We do need another starting pitcher and a starting CF. These guys fill both criteria with the potential to be highly productive at a low cost player wise. Get Bradley and Giles for the OF. Re-sign Nomar and keep Walker. Walker Murton Giles Lee Ramirez Nomar Bradley Barrett Not a bad offense.
  18. Oh, lighten up. It's a game, ribbing of the opposing team's fans should be encouraged. Whatever.
  19. No, I think I'd still classify it as classless.
  20. I was(am) convinced that it's the caliber of team that they are. They lost 4 games last year, and in their NC year they had a multitude of close games they managed to win, mostly IMO because of Krenzel's game management. I don't think Zwick and Smith are even close to that, and it will cost them in close games. I still think that they'll lose 3-4 games, between road games at PSU, UM, and Minnesota, and a home game against MSU, I see them going .500 in that stretch. Krenzel didn't have the weapons on offense that Smith has. Smith is his own weapon. I am betting that if Tressel gets Ginn more involved on the offensive side, around 15 or more touches per game, they might not lose again. Holmes and Ginn are better than Michael Jenkins and Drew Carter. I can't see them losing to PSU, Minnesota, or MSU. They'll likely lose to Michigan.
  21. Cpatt, I'm curious as to why you thought OSU would be so bad this season. I remember you thinking they'd lose 3, 4, maybe even five games.
