    Switch Barrett for Blanco and this is as close as Dusty has come to putting out the correct line up in months.

Pierre cf Perez ss (have to get his glove in the lineup against this good hitting tigers team) Walker 1b (While this is an AL team...they're playing in an NL park...so Nevin would be at a disadvantage) Ramirez 3b Jones rf Bynum lf (fast AL guy...tigers won't know what to do with him) Blanco C (gotta rest Barrett before he starts his suspension) Womak SS (he played in the AL one time...he knows these guys) Fat guy.

    What are you talking about? Bynum got a hit today...he's fast. Can't believe we got him for only a 25 year old left handed pitcher who started out 4-1 this year...

    I'm not sure...but I think Dusty has filled out the line up card the same way I would have a total of one time this year.... How is it so hard to do this: Pierre Walker Nevin Ramirez Jones Barrett Murton Cedeno Pitcher Why can't one of these guys "save" us? How can it possibly be in the best interests of the future of this organization to continually start guys who can't make any other major league roster?

    I'm just curious who sits so Neifi can play when Derek comes back. Possibly Ronny? can't let a youngster play a full season and really...who needs that .300 average.

    Out yesterday and today for no apparent reason. He did ph yesterday. Great...cause we couldn't use his bat. Seriously...since Nevin has joined the team, has there been one game where Walker played second, Nevin played first, Barrett Caught and we didn't have Bynum stuck somewhere in the outfield? I don't think there has...

    So I'm too lazy to go back and read the whole thread...and I've been on vacation for a week so if there was an injury i missed it...was there a good reason for Walker not playing tonight or was it a Dusty reason?

    Soriano--I'm not sure he'd be out of our price range considering the money we'll be cutting loose and our obvious needs...however, I'd really like to get some OBP to go with that pop (yes..I know he's putting up a .360 this year...but his historicals are a little sketchy)
