  1. whatever. That's pretty much true the last month or so.
  2. Something is really wrong with Lee.
  3. What are the odds we don't score here? I say better than 50-50.
  4. Pedro Feliz is being eaten by seagulls? No, but Barry Bonds is the snack of choice. He's high in HGH levels. Its like Viagra for birds. Watch yourself. Barry can always add you to that lawsuit he is filing against Schilling. I'm sure it's coming any day now.

  7. Is it just me, or does it seem like Clark has put on a few pounds?
  8. Undoubtedly next year they'll have three guys with 30+ HR, only the rotation and bullpen will be absolute dogcrap.
  9. And at 47 years old no less. Pat joked earlier that Cruz had a son in his second year of medical school.
  10. When's the last time we hit a HR in this ballpark?
  11. Thank you Marmol. You are awesome.
  12. What happens if Marshall stays in? Does his arm fall off after 80 pitches? Geez, I know you need to protect young pitchers, but that's freakin' ridiculous. It had nothing to do with the pitch count. Piniella was trying to break the game open there and it backfired on him. Once again, Piniella overmanaging.
  13. What happens if Marshall stays in? Does his arm fall off after 80 pitches? Geez, I know you need to protect young pitchers, but that's freakin' ridiculous. It had nothing to do with pitch count. We went for the throat and missed. As usual.

  15. Somehow, someday the Cubs are going to find a way to get negative runs when they have the bases loaded and nobody out. They just as easily could have kept Marshall in and gotten the same result. What a waste of a roster spot.
  16. I don't understand the strange hatred for Marshall by some people. He's a good 5th starter who's making league minimum. Hes inconsistent dude, come on In 16 starts, Marshall has given up 3 ER or less 12 times. That's not fantastic, but it's not bad. Aren't most of his starts though in the 5-6 inning range though?
  17. Pie doing his best to even those numbers out.
  18. Of course it would be nice if we could win games that favor us on paper, like Z vs. Cain Eh, it evens out as the Cubs won the game where the Giants looked better on paper (Lincecum vs. Marquis). And Cain has arguably been better than Z this season. With a 5-13 record?????
  19. The same way you walk a .080 hitter. I didn't realize that until I just checked out the previous innings on Gameday. I'm glad I wasn't here for that at-bat.
