  1. Heads up baserunning there by Murton.
  2. When was the last time we had a LH hitter who could hit lefties fairly well?
  3. Wow. Please predict a win. No kidding.
  4. Good. Singles. That's what we need. Let's see what Monroe can do here.
  5. Ramirez would have been better off bringing his wedge to hit some of the crap he's been swinging at tonight.
  6. Great. Watch Ramirez create 50 MW of wind energy trying to hit a 3-run homer.
  7. A balk? The only time I ever see those called are against the Cubs.
  8. Because they think they're at a beer league softball game and are trying to hit a home run every single time they're at the plate. It's a pathetic display of hitting.
  9. I'm no expert, but I would think the answer to guys like this is to be patient at the plate and try to take the ball the other way, because it sure seems like swinging from your heels and twisting yourself into the ground isn't working.
  10. Whenever you see a dude with a soul patch, one of the following two things are true: 1.) He's gay 2.) He doesn't own a mirror
  11. I'm mystified at how impotent the Cubs lineup is against perennial gopher-ball pitchers like Davis. If he were pitching against the Cards or the Mets, he'd have given up 6 or 7 runs already. But since everyone on this team is trying to hit a three-run homer with no one on (Ramirez especially), once again we're making a limp-wristed left hander look like Randy Johnson.
  12. That win total looks familiar. Oh... it's last year's TOTAL! Wow. I had almost forgotten how sucky they were last year. Almost.
  13. I always preferred Steve "The Finger" Kline.
  14. I like those standings. Let's go Giants.
  15. Oooh, but he's a "slider specialist." Gag. Wuertz is a bum. Let's go Dempster!
  16. Not only that, but didn't Ramirez swing at the first pitch? Yeah. So did Kendall and DeRosa. DeRosa was leading off, and Kendall swung because it was a hit and run.
  17. Pat spelled out earlier why their record is so good: 18-3 against the Marlins, Nationals and Phillies.
  18. Not only that, but didn't Ramirez swing at the first pitch? Yeah. Even worse, especially with a pitcher who's struggling.
  19. His head is way out of the game right now. It just seems like he doesn't give a crap whether he wins or loses.
  20. Not only that, but didn't Ramirez swing at the first pitch?
