    I thought that it was widely known that Walker isn't starting when Zambrano is pitching. There will be some sort of platoon situation at 2B to get extra offense when Barrett or Ramirez are resting.

It's a short walk and you make it to center st in the same amount of time as it takes to leave the parking lot. Oh and it's free parking (at least last year).

    I get the MLB audio every year, usually they offer it free if you suscribe to Sports Illustrated and cancel SI before you get charged.

    San Antonio has a large military population. Houston or Dallas isn't that far from SA. It would make more sense to put a Rangers/Astros minor league affiliate in SA than a Mariners .

    I just go to Thursday homes game here in Tucson ($1 beer night). The Iowa cubs are here for one of those this year.

    A deal for prospects for Soriano would likely backfire. The Sexton trade the D-Backs made a couple years ago made the Brewers a competitor in the division and Sexton walked after getting injured. Every D-Backs fan I know is still mad about that trade and want no part of trading Chad Tracy. The best we can hope for is to start the season with the starters (Walker/Cedeno/Murton/etc) in place and pick up a bat at the deadline for prospects to replace an injured/slumping player.

    Really? From 2003-2005, against lefties, .255/.288/.408. Don't let those whopping 9 homeruns fool you into thinking he's any good there, just because announcers insist on calling him a threat from that side. Yeah after checking the stats Neifi sucks against lefties, but if you look at against lefties at home/day games from last year it he looks a little better.

    Neifi isn't that bad against lefties, it might be fine at 2B and Hairston in RF occationally against lefty starters.

    what color? how many miles? what is the shape of the car? I wouldn't want to put $2300 into a 1984 Cavalier. I had a light blue 1984 Cavalier back in college and the engine died at 125000 miles. I think GM engineered them to blow head gasket or something at 125 K miles. If you want to restore it as a classic car to be used in movies then it might be worth it.
