Ichiro? No chance. He's only played here for 7 years. Are you serious? In those 7 seasons the guy has 1592 hits (more than anyone has ever had in a 7 year stretch), 782 runs, 272 SB's, 7 straight gold gloves (yes I know). I know he's a bad ass. I'm not saying he's not good at baseball. I'm saying that he hasn't played here long enough to get voted in. Look at the players who have been voted in in the past 10, 15, 20 years. All of them had long careers. Being great for 7 years doesn't make you a Hall of Famer. But this is the MLB Hall of Fame, not the world baseball HOF. I don't think that what he did in Japan will have anything to do with him getting in.
