  1. Wrigley looks so beautiful around this time.
  2. Can you stop posting what the people on a Sox forum are saying? I don't care, and I'm sure other don't either.
  3. Hahaha Ankiel. What the hell was that?
  4. I really think we're going to dominate tonight.
  5. So first Bartman reference? I'm guessing in the intro. If not then, then I'll say bottom first.
  6. Geez, the White Sox are such an embarrassment. Talk, talk, talk. I've never seen a team do so much of it for a regular season series.
  7. Nicely done, bhogg. That was awesome.
  8. I hated Jim Edmonds more than any other player on the Cardinals. I hated the signing when it happened for both that reason, as well as because I didn't think he had anything left. I'll gladly admit I was wrong on the second part. As for the first part... as much as I don't like to admit it, I've become a Jimmy Ballgame fan. Great pickup by Hendry.
  9. Hahaha, that's what I initially thought too.
  10. Do your research and find out what the dealer cost was for the car. That will tell you how low you can offer. I've been looking at various things online for the past hour or so. Where do you find that? It's a used car (2007). If it's used, then there's really know way to know what the dealer has in it. Use kelly blue book and find out the blue book value first. Thanks for the help! EPatt with a nice day so far You're welcome. My first wife's father sold cars and her brother was the GM at a dealership, so I learned a lot of the tricks from them. Yeah, there's a ton of information online as far as tactics, strategies, etc. I know how to negotiate, it's something I do every day at work. I just can't seem to find anything that tells me how much you can knock off the price of a car.

  13. This is entirely unrelated to the Cubs game, but I'm looking at buying a car. Today. And need some advice. And I know a lot of people are reading this thread. If the dealer is asking 22,900 for a vehicle, is an offer around 19,500 reasonable?
  14. With all this talk about Harden, I think you have to keep in mind that the A's are only 3.5 games out of first right now.
  15. This game's on WGN? Nice! I looked at my cable guide last night and saw that the Cards-Red Sox game was on Fox here. Didn't realize I get to watch today's Cubs game til just now.
  16. In general, I don't really pay too close attention to the AL. As such, I don't know a lot about Rich Harden. Looking through his stats, I see that he's very good when he pitches. But that doesn't appear to happen too often. What is his injury history? Is it a recurring problem, or multiple ones?
  17. Watch him come back and dominate like Prior in '03.
  18. The Rays announcer looks like a cartoon character. What a silly looking person.
