  1. There you go Geo. Now let's freaking plate him!
  2. What are the pitch counts for each starter?
  3. You gotta give Z a lot of credit for pitching this well when he doesn't have his best stuff. Aside from walking that run in, he's really done a nice job of pitching through his mistakes.
  4. Hahaha, what the hell was wrong with that girl?
  5. Because he's a good pitcher? Again, 6.61 ERA away from spacious Dodger stadium this year. I'm not talking about just this year. Clearly he's having a down year. He's been solid the last three years.
  6. I'm sure he's already asked if he could do that.
  7. Yeah, I hate Edmonds just as much as the next guy, but there's nothing wrong with what he said.
  8. He's really been on him lately. Tonight LaSorda said something like "who's that on first; can he run?" (it was Soriano). Bob immediately chimed in with an enthusiastic "sometimes!" Not sure if that was a shot at his hustling or just commenting on his injuries. I have no problems with home team announcers pointing out mistakes rather than sugar coating everything, I just hope it doesn't get too excessive.
  9. me too, but maybe because i also live among the heathens. they still worship him. Some Cards fans I know are glad to see him on the Cubs, just because they realize that he's going to harm them much more than do any good. So in a way, he's still playing for the Cards.
  10. Nothing wrong with playing small ball on a night like tonight.
  11. Edmonds is easily my most hated Cub.
  12. If only Pie weren't stinking up AAA. If he went down there and did what the Cubs wanted him to do, this Edmonds experiment would probably be very very close to being over.
  13. Gallagher is very bad at getting out of jams.
  14. I don't like those splits at all. Didn't realized he was that bad with runners on. There you go, nice double!
  15. How disappointed would you be if you were told that some Cubs players were going to visit you, only to find out that it's Mike Fontenot and Michael Wuertz?
  16. Wow, that was a terrible call. Nice, inning over!
