    you flipped those sox tix too soon...i'm seeing them going for 150+ a piece...some dude is trying to sell his for 300 a pop...never know, might get it Really? Wow, I wish I would've known. I looked on Ebay this afternoon before I agreed to the 600 dollar price and didn't see anything competitve to that, so I sold them. Either way, as it stands right now, I made a 700 dollar profit today just by spending about an hour online at work. I fully intend to do the same thing next Saturday when Cardinals tickets go on sale.

    Why haven't I bought Sox tickets every year? I just flipped 6 bleacher seats for the Sox game for 600 bucks, and 4 bleacher seats for one of the April Cards game for 320 bucks. Today has been a good day! And if anyone is interested, I still have 2 tickets for the Saturday Cards game, and 4 for the Sunday Cards game available (all bleachers).

    How are you guys getting in so quickly and often? I've got 3 windows open and haven't had a chance yet. Frustration growing. Pens will be thrown around office shortly. Open more windows... I had at least 50 open this morning.

    I got 6 bleachers for the Saturday Sox game and 6 bleachers for the April Saturday Cards game. The Sox tickets are for sale; if you're interested, let me know. Make an offer of at least 150 bucks per pair.

    If you get through on the phone, can you buy tickets for more than one game? Or are you allowed just one game per call? Either way, I'm going to be pounding the phone, as well as have several windows open.

    I'll be targeting 4/21 and 4/22 against the Cardinals, as well as 5/19 and 5/20 against the White Sox. I'll probably go to a couple of the games against the Cards in August as well, but I'll hold off on trying to buy those for now.

    Everything is cool with me. How long will the draft take? By the way, my team is Ramirianolee. If everyone shows up to the draft, or the majority anyways, it should take around an hour. Cool. What if the majority of the people don't show up though? Just asking cause I'm not going to spend hours on my computer on what should be a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

    I know that there are incentives tied to this contract like being an All Star, winning the Gold Glove, winning the Silver Slugger, etc. Does anyone know how much Zambrano can make this year with incentives?

    I really wish that there was an alternative to Baseball Tonight, because I love seeing the highlights from all the games that day.

    Nice job by Hendry. This wasn't even close to meeting in the middle. Hendry almost got Zambrano's agents to settle for what the Cubs were offering in aribtration. Either way, I'm glad that he's signed. Now let's hope that an extension is announced in the near future.

Jesus Christ, it's as if people who question the diety that is Aramis Ramirez are completely idiotic for mentioning that it doesn't look good that he's the only one who doesn't show up early. Am I saying that he's an ass for not showing up early? No. Am I saying that I like him less for not showing up early? No, in fact he's one of my favorite Cubs. Am I saying that it doesn't look good? Yes. And it doesn't. He signs a fat contract (at a discount, yes, but still fat) and he's the last to arrive to ST. That's not the way to win over the fans that got on him last year. how does it look bad if he's not late, yet? that's the confusing thing about all of this. and using your own "real-world" logic, if you're scheduled to work at 8am on monday, does it look bad if you show up at 8am on monday, what would you accomplish by showing up at 8am on sunday? If everyone else in my entire office... everyone... comes in and works on Sunday and I don't? Yeah, it's not going to look good. It'll look like I'm the slacker. When everyone else is coming in early and I just show up when I have to be there, it looks bad for me. How is this so hard to understand?

He hasn't shown up early to spring training, and it immediately turns into "well he looked out of shape to me" and "he's not early? that's not impressing anyone". It's useless garbage and it hasn't even been a week yet. Can't comment on the out of shape thing cause I wasn't the one who said that, but what's so "garbage" about saying that he's not impressing anyone by being the only person who isn't early? Whether people want to acknowledge it or not, being the last person to arrive doesn't look good. Especially when all of your other teammates get there before they have to. It's meaningless. Geez, Manny isn't showing up until March 1st. Think that will affect his hitting? ARam is here for 5 more years, don't sweat the silly stuff. It's meaningless? Haha, showing up to work on time is meaningless? I wish my boss shared that sentiment! This has gotten way off topic. I just wanted to know if all the other players had arrived.

    It's a great business move. MLB.TV is run by Major League Baseball Advance Media. There has been talk of MLBAM going public sometime in the not so distant future. One of the key assets for them is, obviously, MLB.TV. If MLB shifts the MLB Extra Innings package to direcTV, they will automatically greatly expand the market for their own product. People like myself who have no interest in switching to satellite will only have one choice - MLB.TV. If people look at the big picture, it makes perfect sense.
