  1. So they don't heat/thermal wrap or put any anti freeze in them?
  2. I'd prefer Hackett to Johnson anyways. The way this FA period is going, I'm wondering if Angleo intends to sign *anyone* outside of Briggs. BTW, on Mike & Mike this morning they called Briggs the "biggest loser" in FA. I hear that the Bears are setting them selves up to draft the greatest QB in history, Mr. Clouson (sp) from the University of Notre Dame.
  3. I thought that this thread was going to be about the wealth of talent the Cubs have in right.
  4. I would like to see Moss go to the Eagles and give Don a nice little go to guy.
  5. It's Spring Training. I'd say he's got a shot at making the team. One-Two of Theriot, Fontenot, Cintron and Cedeno has to go so Bruce, which one goes, and WHERE do they go? The Cubs don't even know yet. Fontenot is hurt by being able to play one position. If no one is traded, he may go to Iowa. Too early to tell. Does he still have options left?
  6. It's Spring Training. I'd say he's got a shot at making the team. Me too, especially if Ronny gets traded.
  7. I can't even explain how good it feels to have him in they're instead of Jaque Your avitar says it for you.
  8. If Jones played a great CF it wouldn't hurt as much though but I agree those numbers are not something to build on. Is Colvin a superior defender to Jones? I thought they were about equal (if not Jones being a bit better with a working shoulder) even at this point in both of their careers. I don't know. I was hoping in a Cub fan type of way!
  9. Now that they are finally healthy, the Cards are going to be a tough team to beat. Your team better learn how to play D. You guys are great on offense but your defense is going to cost you in the NCAA's.
  10. I'm sure the players will weed themselves out and Lou will pick the best option.
  11. Lots of teams will be losing to the Rays this year, with or without Bonds. I would really like to see them be competitive and keep their good young players while adding some good vets. I hear their scouting is the best in MLB!
  12. Like??? Doubling down the line. Was it a rip or a poke and stab double.
  13. Yeah, hits with that amount of walks is not a good thing. It looks like he was missing by a lot with a HBP and a WP and not by a few inches.
  14. Why? constantly behind the hitters, even the guys he struck out, although maybe that is how he pitches. Ron seems to think lefties will hit him better. So he's still throwing too many balls, eh? Thanks.
  15. If Jones played a great CF it wouldn't hurt as much though but I agree those numbers are not something to build on.
  16. Hey raisin, how did Dempster give up one run and yet 2 HR's? Was one called back because of holding?
  17. Yep. THis will be his last inning. Aw man Dusty is going to blow his arm out!
  18. Oh that Jimbo is SOOO slick!! Just another way of saying "Your move, Andy" Well let's hope we don't hear Andy say..."Check and mate".
  19. There's a lack of proof though. I don't recall Mitchell mentioning him, and I just don't remember any controversy. Even in this day & age, it's difficult to lay that at someone's feet when there's nothing really there supporting it. There always will be and thanks to the Baseball union this question will be asked of almost all of the successful players from the 80's on. The "silent" majority should have stopped this in it's tracks.
  20. He is by far the most enjoyable fun to watch RB I have ever seen. Its hard to tackle what you can't even touch. It certainly is and he rarely had someone hit him solid.
