    Is Mungro still on the roster? No. Mungro hurt his knee in 2006, and the Colts didn't feel he was healthy enough to put on their roster for 2007. Since he hasn't signed with anybody since then, my guess is that the injury was career ending. Thanks CCP. I knew he hurt it but I wasn't aware of how badly.

    his dad and clemens are apparently decent friends I would think a Presidential pardon would seal Roger off from the hall of fame forever, and for sure. The sense of foul play would be so heightened, I can't see how any signficant number of voters would put him in, even many, many years from now. Presumably, Clemens' plan is to cast as much doubt as he possibly can on the charges, so that hopefully in a decade or more people will be willing to put it aside and vote for his numbers. A pardon would certainly ruin that. Good, so something positive could come from the pardon.

    It should be noted that the Loves weren't the only parents unhappy with the coach, though I don't think that mitigates their craziness much. http://www.portlandtribune.com/sports/story.php?story_id=24994 That's pretty good!     If somebody is coming from nowheresville, driving is an option, but I'm assuming most visitors would be trying to get back into the city. True. I just thought I'd add an option if they didn't want to go to NYC. Garwilly asked about tips for the city, and I couldn't imagine why anybody would ever consider coming all the way out here and not going into the city. If you've never been, you really have to go to NYC - I mean that in general for anybody thinking of going, not you cuse. Oh I agree you have to see NYC if you can. I know I wasn't looking for a bar or to tailgate there but I just remember it being that kind of area to do so. Hey, if you're in NYC for a day, what one thing would you make sure you do?

    He's supposedly a nut in his own right. He pulled a lot of VERY questionable stuff with Kevin's high school coach, including accusing him of being a racist and placing signage around the high school urging the coach's termination after he sat Kevin for missing a practice. Yep...I've dealt with dads like that before. They're your buddy until their son steps out of line and then they turn on you full force and quite out of left field so to speak. Not quite that nutty but we had a father in a parking lot watching with binochulors (sp) and writing things down as we practiced and reported it to the AD. He made up some ridicules stuff too.

    I found Shea easy to find, park and accessible to get to in and out. Ugly as all heck though. We stayed in the Catskills and took the drive to Flushing from there.
