If the Iowa fans didn't storm the court, they'd be disrespecting the Illini program. ;) Right, you know Illinois has lost like 1 home game the last decade, yet we weren't even mentioned the entire day when they talked about hardest places to play at. :roll: But, that's ok just keep acting like our program doesn;t exist and get all fired up when we lose espn. plus doug "credit card" gottlieb tried to compare ther 4 guard system at villanove to our 4 guard system. saying theres were better. First off we only had 3 guards last year, secondly name me one of there guys who will be the third pick in the draft. Maybe he was confused on all the Assembly Halls in the Big 10 and didn't want to embarrass himself.

If the Bucs comeback in this game, I hope they drop it this often against the Bears! :P But what if the Bucs are getting it out of their system? I never liked you... :) EDIT: kidding of course I'd like to see the Bears win the NFC. It's if they go against Indy that I wouldn't be rooting for them. You've turned bitter since you moved from Utah.

Bruce said the Cubs don't see Neifi as an everyday player and project Cedeno as a starter, but the Cubs have a history of spreading disinformation. Don't forget, Hendry talked up Dubois as a potential ROY when the Cubs' actual plan was to stick Dubois with the short and greasy end of a platoon, which of course would leave him zero chance at the ROY. Simply put, Hendry shoved a steaming load of bullcrap down the public's collective throat. Stuff like that doesn't do much for the Cubs' credibility. Bruce will give us the straight dope on what he hears, but if the Cubs lie to him he will still be giving out bad info, through no fault of his own. Who are the Cubs that are saying this to Bruce....Hendry or Baker? I really doubt it's Baker that has been saying that and he is the one that fills out the lineup card.

I'm sure that Lynx of mine was destroyed in the junkyard 5 years after I bought it. My current vehicles are a Ford 150 and a Mazda MPV. Love the Ford and I hate the Mazda with an utter passion. the mazda is a ford . . . The engine is a 2.5 Ford which I don't like and the layout of the interior is Mazda which I dispise.

While it would make some sense for the Orioles to reload, Angelos is afraid of the competition for area fans with the Washington Nationals. The impact of the Nats on his market is serious since we are talking about cable contracts etc. The Orioles would also need to unload Javier Lopez, Melvin Mora, Hernandez, etc. in an effort to rebuild. If I were them, I wouldn't unload Hernandez. I'd keep him to work with and bring along some of the young top pitching prospects they should be trading the other above names for. They can't unload Hernandez until June 15th.

I think the Prizm's had Toyota engines in them. I'm certainly not surprised it has 225k and is still running. Yes they did. the Prizm was just a rebadged Corrolla. Now they have the Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix that are the same base car. Interesting, I didn't know that about the Vibe and Matrix. Why would Pontiac want to team with Toyota and vice versa? So are the Vibe and Matrix mostly a GM product or Toyota? The Saturn VUE has a Honda engine in it.

I don't think it would be even remotely possible to sign Weaver if they took on all of Tejada's contract while sending minimum salary guys like Hill and Williams back to Baltimore. What do you think Weaver is going to get a year? I think he'll average at least 7.5.

I wondered this myself, but Eric seemed to do well last year even while his brother was faltering. Eric has the personality to handle the situation. While Corey is not very expressive, Eric is outgoing and known as a clubhouse leader. I actually think this ordel will make Eric stronger mentaly and I have little doubt that he will be the more successful pro among the Patterson brothers. I thought that Eric has commented about this before and he realizes that it's a business and these things happen.

I think Manny has said yes to a deal to Baltimore but that doesn't mean he won't change his mind during the season, especially if they are losing. I don't think Manny has been on a losing team in his career.

I think they should trade down and try to get as many 2nd and 3rd round picks as possible, so they can stock up on lineman and build the team. They aren't a player away from success. I think they could get a 1st and 2nd round for their first pick, possibly 2 first and a second.
