I have no interest in Zito because of what he would cost the Cubs. I'd rather give Williams and Marshall a chance to prove themselves and use prospects for an impact RF.
I feel bad for Pagan. He finally gets a chance and this happens. I don't want Pie up until July at the earliest and that's if the Cubs have exhausted every opportunity to make a deal for a RF. The beauty part is they can deal Pierre at any time since he wasn't signed as a free agent.
He's just getting too much plate right now and needs to have better control. He has time to step up thanks to the injuries and arb time for the young guys and I'd like to see him do it. If he pitches well enough he can help the Cubs get a decent prospect at the deadline if the Cubs are hitting on all cylinders. Teams always over pay for crafty lefties.
I thought it was the players decision. It used to be but not anymore. You can thank players like Wade Boggs for that. Ok, well what should hat should he wear in the HOF? Braves, no question about it. It breaks my heart that you are probably right.

No faith in Ohman eh? I do but he's coming off a bad game and I'd rather have a good frame of mind going after the lefties in case it is a tight game tommorrow. I don't understand why Baker went to him so early instead of letting Williams be the first guy in. Williams? or Williamson? Williams. I thougt Williams would be the long relief guy.
 And now Len with a Bermanism - "Stormy" Weathers? WTF Len? David Weathers the storm I still dislike Weathers for pitching so poorly when the Cubs got him. Who did they trade to get him in 2003?

he only threw 9 pitches the previous inning and faced a lefty right there. 1 out. Yeah but I see this righty hitting him hard. I think he should be out now but that's me.
