    40-Man roster players sent down Carlos Marmol Jose Reyes Geovony Soto Brian Dopirak Scott Moore I think his question is if one of the non-roster guys makes the team is the 40 man full or will the Cubs be able to add them them without waiving a player.

    From what I have heard is that Bonds is sueing because the information was obtained illegally through his testomony during his Grand Jury statements.

    2005 NL average walk rate = .0845 2005 Aramis Ramirez walk rate = .0694 I'm curious on how many times ARam swings and misses/or fouls and if this effects his walk rate. A lot of hitters foul off or miss a pitch and perhaps ARam doesn't do that as much thus skewing those numbers.

    How old was Z when he came up and stayed on the Cubs? How much experience in the minors did he have? I'd like to see one of these kids get into the rotation.

    Whatever the grad rate is at KState it will go down dramatically. Huggy is a very good coach and recruiter but he doesn't belong at a college campus IMO.

    What is your list of coaches that you want at Mizzou? Anderson, Hobbs, Beilein, and Majerus would all be good hires IMO. Apparently Huggins is the hot name around, but I'm not a big fan. Dixon from Pitt has come up and would be a great hire, but I'm not convinced that his low salary(the only reason he'd leave Pitt) is enough for him to come to a situation like Mizzou. I've heard rumors that Beilein may be looking for his next gig.

    I was curious on what the record for most RBI in a game without a hit is. A player from Japan had 3 on Monday.

    Yup. Nixon 2005 vs. Righties: .288/.364/.483/.847 Pena 2005 vs. Lefties: .291/.345/.536/.881 Nice pickup by Boston. I don't know if I would trade a starting pitcher for a platoon guy though, especially a right handed one.

    I think you guys had enough losses like this to last you for a couple of years. Next year things should be turned in your favor. Of course since Syr beat you by double digits that should continue. :wink:

    Try getting called for a T for hanging on the rim in the last 2 minutes when the same exact dunk has been done by all teams all year without one being called. That happened to us last year against Vermont.

    Washington will then flip Walker and trade him to Oakland for Zito and Chavez. Walker is just that good.

    Only if refs had no say on loose balls as well as fouls that did not involve the act of shooting. Maybe they should just have rugby and then once they go up for a shot, then blow the whistle. Syracuse played Pitt and were out shot at the line 34-5. I don't know what refs are looking at but it's often something different than I am.

    :wink: Me too as I have them winning it all. IMO I think the refs matchups for Pitt are very important as they are a very physical team.

    If they were consistantly good they would be. Gonzaga gets that nod because every year they are a good team over time. Tell me this, do you think Gonzaga would have been a 3 seed this year if they averaged 4 wins for the past 4 years? They certainly got the #3 based on the past as they didn't beat anyone good this year besides Michigan St. They lost to Washington, UConn and Memphis and then ran the table in a pathetic conference. I agree but the past is what got them that 3 seed. It all evens out in the end.

    I see Wood and Miller coming back and reinjuring themselves and Prior coming back after those guys and shutting down before the season ends due to "discomfort".
