  1. Wow, I agree with Chris Collingsworth, that's a first!
  2. I think the aggressive defenses have a lot to do with that.
  3. A game with Manning struggling is a game that Indy has to win to go to the big dance. KC has done a very good job on D.
  4. Who is that kid! :D Nice moves.
  5. who would have imagined the Colts Defense stepping up in this game, they've done a wonderful job so far.
  6. Great coverage by the Chiefs.
  7. I don't understand why they go to the no WR offense at the 2 yard line.
  8. Yeah, remind me how many times one conference has been favored in all its bowl games, and been favored by at least a touchdown in four of them? The Big East went 5-0 in large part because they had easy matchups. Maybe they played Buffalo because Howard, Eastern Washington and Temple already had commitments to play Big East teams. 5-0. Yeah, we all know the favorites always win too. You seem to like perception but I like facts....5-0. Let's go to these easy matchups. Why do you think this? Is it because the Big East is frozen out of the big boy pool?
  9. Trying to get a player that has had success and is still having success to change his his mechanics is a very hard thing to do. Not until he goes through failure or injury will you be able to really get it into his head. Even after that it may not be able to be done.
  10. There's always room for Macias.
  11. Watch KC pass the ball a lot since everyone expected Johnson to run the ball 30 times or more.
  12. I've still yet to see you post any concrete evidence that the Big East got screwed in the bowls they were awarded this year. Tell me...what is concrete about college football? Did Louisville and Florida have the same record? Once Louisville lost 1 game they were booted out of the BSC Big game. Same for Rutgers and WV. Auburn and LSU have to lose twice. Why? Well, because Florida and LSU clearly played more difficult schedules, which is apparent to anyone who isn't blinded by conference homerism. 5-0 my man....5-0 and it's NEVER been done before. We proved it on the field yet again but next year the Auburns will play those tough Buffalo's and go 4-0 into SEC play and once again the SEC will be so strong. If the Big East does that they are weak because the conference is so weak. It isn't weak and 5-0 proves that. Florida did not play a tougher schedule but the illusion of what the SEC does makes it look that way.

  14. If I wanted to win one game between the 2 it would be Gibson.
  15. He can sing, dance and even fix the toilet...that is versatile!
  16. That's funny Vance because that's how I view the SEC and Big 10. Plus, Thanks to Delaney (Big 10 Commish) we will NEVER have a playoff because he's too happy with the Rose Bowl the way it's set up now. You think the lack of a playoff makes me happy? No, it doesn't. And how do you go and call 23 teams out of 119 spoiled rich kids? Absurd. That and they seem to lick up half the national titles. I mean, at least they have something back up. I think you didn't read the posts correctly. Did either post call the kids spoiled? No. What was written was that the SEC and Big 10 have things just the way they want them and they do not want to share. ND is by far not the only one that is "spoiled", believe me. And they lick up National titles by the good ole boy vote. You will always have an SEC, Big 12, USC, ND or a Big 10 team win over any other team if they have the same record. Always.

Plus, Thanks to Delaney (Big 10 Commish) we will NEVER have a playoff because he's too happy with the Rose Bowl the way it's set up now. But to a man, most of the big name coaches in the SEC are firmly in favor of a playoff. I know Miles, Myer, and Tubberville are for certain. But Vance we know who runs the SEC and it isn't the coaches.

  19. They need to not play Temple. AND Buffalo. One, not 2 since they play so few out of conference games.
  20. I'm really glad the Cubs don't cave and do that. It's right up there with Wrigley not having a video screen for me. Every time I go to a game where they're blasting "theme music," it suddenly feels less like baseball and more like wrestling. Pass. There is a precedent. Remember when Sutter used to come in and the organist would play the Alka Seltzer theme song? "Plop plop, Fizz fizz, oh what a relief it (he) is.." Really? I didn't know that.
  21. Next year, especially if everyone stays, they will be loaded.
  22. I kinda like this move. You can't have too many power arms. And who knows MAYBE, just maybe.....oh....nevermind. As long as Howard isn't blocking other pitchers who are better then he is...then I am fine with it. Five years ago, I would have LOVED to have Ben Howard and Matt Harrington in the Cubs system, but not....they are just journeymen pitchers. Man, it never ceases to amaze me, on how many players waste their god given ability to play baseball. Who knows, he may be a future closer.
  23. I wonder if he has an MVP of the World Series clause too?
  24. The #11 team really shouldn't have been there. They need to change the rule that prohibits a conference from only getting in two teams and we could have had a better match-up. If they do that then the rich just get richer. You'd see just SEC, Big 10 and Big 12 teams fill all the slots. Maybe - or maybe there'd be a deserving school from the Big East or one of the other conferences in there. Rutgers screwed themselves by losing to Cincy, and WVU screwed themselves by losing to USF. They had nobody to blame but themselves for not getting in the BCS this year. Do you really think they would have taken them over ND, Michigan or Wisconsin if they (BE team) only had one loss? I don't. Opps, I forgot LSU which somehow managed to lose 2 games too but I suppose that's ok.

If they do that then the rich just get richer. You'd see just SEC, Big 10 and Big 12 teams fill all the slots. They should increase it to 3 teams from a conference. No more than that though. So this year they would have added Wisconsin and taken ND away correct? Who else was added other than ND and Michigan as Boise earned it.
