  1. Technically they did, would have been free throws [glow=red]Personally I thought it was a backcourt violation.[/glow] Miles got himself in deep horsefeathers and kinda flopped when he felt some contact trying to draw a whistle. Would have been awful to see him bailed out with FT’s at that point. And I say this as a fan of him as a player. First saw him play AAU ball 3 years ago. His team was stacked and he was only a 3* but he was the most impressive player that day in my opinion. I thought the exact same thing in real time. Was surprised it wasn't called.
  2. https://youtu.be/VVYA3oTG8fg :clapping: BRAVO!!! First time I saw this I was about 6 years old. Hilarious then and hilarious now. Thanks for sharing!!
  3. This has been a pretty boring Superb Owl.
  4. My local team, the Arizona Wildcats played #3 UCLA on Thursday and avenged a loss nine days earlier in LA with a double-digit win. And then two days later, today, they took out #19 USC. Should be enough to get back into the Top 5. Bear down!!!
  5. This. I’m no puckhead, but Gretzky played in the least popular major sport, for a Canadian team, in the western time zone, well before the surges of the 24 sports programming, the internet and social media. The NHL was forced to change the rules of hockey because Gretzky (mostly) and the rest of the Oilers were so dominant on power plays. Gretzky was probably the greatest/most dominant singular player of any team sport in the history of sports. And I don’t even think it’s close. As far as TB being the greatest champion, Bill Russell disagrees.
  6. LEGEND!!!!!!
  7. I think this season and last (at least in the playoffs), it’s been Brady’s defense that has put TB in a position to tie/win. Last year he threw 3 picks in the NFCC. And in the Superb Owl, the defense held the high-flying Chefs to 9 points. Today, TB had 2T TOs but the defense forced 3 fumbles. Brady is great, but he’s had phenomenal defenses year in, year out over the course of his career.
  8. I’m happy for Stafford. Didn’t mind seeing his yearly demise while in the division. But he’s a really good QB that was unfortunate to be drafted by a shitty team run by a shitty organization. Seems like a good guy, so good for him.
  9. It’s early, give it time. Who’d a thunk?
  10. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers can still make it to the Super Bowl if Mike Pence has enough courage. — Daily Trix (@DailyTrix) January 23, 2022 I don’t know how to post a “tweet”, so feel free to do it for me. But this one is also genius! :rotfl:

  12. This. 100%! This is the thing that gets most Packers fans. To have 30 consecutive seasons of HoF QB play and only 2 championships in 3 tries is baffling. And last night wasn’t the first time STs has ended their playoffs. Also mind boggling how the organization has not really addressed this unit as a whole for most of the last 20 years. That said, the Twitter-roasting is hilarious. I think my favorite was the OAN and 1. Edit - missed it the first time, but love the “stop….. he hates being needled “. =D>
  13. Not certain they get past the Rams, but maybe.
  14. also your qb is a delusional qanon supporting douchebag that never backs up his [expletive] words Eh, whatever. I try not to get to wrapped up in professional athletes personal lives, or really their lives off the field. I like him during games/season. He probably is a douche. But I’ll never interact personally with him. And there’s a lot of worse athletes/people in professional sports/entertainment industry.
  15. This is actually HILARIOUS!!!!!!! It just emphasizes the complete ineptitude of the Special Teams and the coaching! BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Only 10 players on the winning kick. masterful Mo Drayton!
  16. If I had to give a reason why the Packers would lose to the Niners, or anyone for that matter, my first 8-10 reasons would be some sort of STs f’up! As a Cubs fan, I’m used to saying, “Wait ‘til next year”.
  17. Holy crap PLVA knows his Packers, no question about that. As I was saying.
  18. Packers have the 32nd ranked (not so)Special Teams in the NFL this season. And they’re not even close to the 31st ranked team. Mo Drayton has been checking the wanted ads in the local papers.
  19. Gonna be tough to break 100, no?
  20. Murray from around Halloween on has been one of the worst QBs in the league in that period since he’s been in the league, iirc. Some week around that point to the end of the season he’s seen a significant drop off every year. I believe Rasul Douglas may have broken him. And maybe a little bit of not having Hopkins.
  21. I think the 49ers have a good chance of knocking off GB Philly and the Raiders were the two weakest teams in the playoffs and they're out. I think every remaining team is capable of winning or losing to their opponent and it not be considered a huge upset.
  22. I’ll add that Jameis Winston had his best season two years ago with BL as the OC, despite the INTs. So there’s that.
  23. TB One of the best O-lines in NFL Evans and Gronk (among other missing pieces) A defense that usually has your team in the lead Leftwich may be good but he has a ton of talent to work with. I think you just eliminated any OCs from ever becoming a HC. Would Hackett deserve a shot? Hell, he doesn't call plays. Probably the most impactful of my list is Brady. I’m sure he adds a ton to the gameplan/prep. And I have no doubt there’s multiple play options on just about every snap based on how he reads the defense. Throw in his ability to go through progressions, still have excellent arm strength and accuracy, and im not sure how much Leftwich has to do with the creativity and success of the offense. McDaniels had TB and flamed out on his first try. I’d be just a tad leery of OCs that ran offenses with some of the all-time great QBs. Doesn’t mean Lefty wouldn’t succeed. Just that he has some of the best tools in the game at his disposal, namely TB. If you were referring to Nate Hackett, I’d say similar things. I think AR’s resurgence has more to do with AR and LaFleur than Hackett.
