I know baseball players want to hit. But I swear, if I were managing against Chatwalk or a guy like Maples, I would tell the players to not take the bat off their shoulders until he struck out the side.

The VBs have played only 1 more home game than road game so far this year.....and yet the VBs are ALWAYS at home it seems. -
How cool would it be to follow a Chatwalk start with Maples as first outta the pen?

So there was the Shawon-o-Meter a few decades back. Can someone do the Projected-Win-Total-o-Meter or maybe the fWAR-o-Meter or some other [insert random sabermetric showing Cubs offensive or team prowess]-o-Meter after each remaining game on this road trip?? Maybe even take it all the way to the ASB. Thanks!

Boy, if only KB were in the lineup. Then the cubs would only have two hits.

That last inning was/will be the Cubs only chance to score tonight and they blew it. From 1sr and 2nd and nobody out to four pitches later -inning over.

Would imagine the sh!tty starters going 5 or less innings so many times the first two and a half months of the season is one of the causes.
