    Just completely and wildly reading between the lines, I think Crane Kenney was both Levine and Kaplan's source yesterday and they got burned. The way the media is about to turn on him, Kenney will be lucky to survive the year. And I'm not sure if I mean that literally or figuratively.

    So to end the day, the Theo Epstein compensation deal is done pending medicals/not done at all/close/not close/waiting for Selig to step in. The Cubs will give up cash/prospects/top prospects/McNutt/not McNutt/some low minor leaguers. The press conference will be Friday/A few days from now/nobody really knows. Fun day! Let's do it again tomorrow.
