    With the Cubs off today I guess I'll have to watch the Cards and Brewers on MLB EI. We'll see how good the Brewers actually are over the next week and a half with games at the Cards, Mets, and Astros.

    Their lineup is really just Pujols, Rolen, Edmonds, and then a bunch of crap surrounding them.

    Pujols and Rolen are going to have good/great years, but I think Edmonds is on a pretty steady decline. He's going to hit his homeruns with that upper-cut swing, but I don't see him having a good year this year. If I were a Cards' fan I would be really nervous of that bullpen they have.

    Pretty classy by Neifi. I don't think anyone thinks he's not a class-act. It's more how Baker uses Neifi than Neifi himself.

    Looks like the Reds picked Phillips up today. Rotoworld: I guess the Reds are taking a page out of the Cubs' book by trying to acquire as many 2b as possible.

    You gotta love how Dusty works out his lineups. "Let's see, I'm taking Walker out of the lineup and replacing him with Neifi today. Guess that means Neifi will also be taking Walk's place in the batting order as well." Do you think we'll see Blanco hitting sixth as well? Stupid Dusty.

    I'm sure a lineup that includes Neifi and Blanco will produce a ton of runs for Maddux. :wall:

    Gotta love that Neifi is higher on the depth chart than Hairston. Hairston's gotta be about ready to shoot Dusty.

    I like the look of the entrance, but I definitely don't like the big Bud Light sign. I don't know how I feel about the batter's eye suite. It sticks out like a sore thumb. I like the view from the inside of it though. All in all the bleachers look pretty good.

    The article says he's battling shoulder stiffness. We've got enough shoulder problems on the team. Don't know if we need another.

    I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Neifi bats either 7th or 8th. Either Cedeno or Murton will be batting 2nd. I know, I went all the way out on that limb. :D

    Miles has been on base all 3 times he's come to the plate today for the Cards. He's 2-2 with 2 singles and a HBP. He's batting over .600 in the first three games of the season. The Cardinal magic continues. I know...it's only three games.

    Broke down and bought the MLB EI package today. I told myself I wouldn't buy it this year, but I couldn't stop myself. I have an addiction.

    Hill deserves a shot if Williams &/or Rusch can't get it together in their next appearance. However, it's not like this year's version of Hill has great command of the strikezone. I'd rather see Ryu. At least he can throw strikes. If we have a choice I'd rather see Guzman up. I think Hill would be the first option though since Guzman hasn't had a whole lot of innings under his belt in the past year and a half.

    Even Bush got re-elected. That's a whole other can of worms. I like that Dusty says he deserves a raise because attendance and revenue were up for the years he's been here. Yep Dusty, all the fans came out to see you big guy. You were the sole cause for the extra revenue.

    The ICubs website is saying "TDB" for each pitcher. Maybe Hill was slated but they're planning on calling him up instead. Can't do much worse than Rusch and Williams did yesterday. No, he definitely can. And he has before. So you'd rather just give the ball to Rusch every fifth day and hope the Cubs can score at least 6 runs that day? It's not like Rusch's performance yeasterday was out of the ordinary. He's been bad most of his career.
