    Pierre CF Hairston 2b Murton LF Aram 3b Walker 1b Barrett C Jones RF Cedeno SS Pitcher That's the lineup I'd go with. Looks pretty bad w/o D Lee. :cry:

    You can only rise so far above what you are. This lineup, without Lee, is one of the worst in baseball. It's just that simple. Unfortunately that's the truth. The offense is going to be terrible without Lee. It wasn't that great with him.

    The Iowa announcers? They probably would've said he got called up. Unless, of course, they said that earlier. Hill: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K, 29 pitches EPatt is 2-2 but with a CS and Hoffpauir is 1-1 so far with a walk. The Jaxx trail 1-0 after 4. They just said Restovich wasn't with the team and he was likely getting the callup tommorow.

    Restovich isn't with the Iowa Cubs tonight. The announcers are guessing he's getting the callup tommorow.

    the score has been wrong on many occassions. this is the same radio station that said pudge rodriguez was signing a deal with the cubs during the '03 offseason. i feel like i could get a better sports news update from mancow's morning madhouse with al roker jr. Levine on ESPN 1000 just said Lee has 2 fractures in his wrist and he'll be in a cast for 6 weeks.

    I still think the Riot should get the call-up. We don't have nearly enough middle infielders on this team.

    Boston does it every year for Patriots day. They have a day game that starts at 11 am and the Boston Marathon is also today. It's a tradition.

    Absolutely. My #1 fear is that the Cubs are going to try and turn Pie into a leadoff hitter instead of an rbi-man. I fear for Corey Patterson part 2.

    well...I guess we have a lot of speed at the top. :chin: I guess we should look for a lot of slap hits today. It's like a girls softball lineup. I actually like Walker down in the 5-hole. He can drive in some runs from that position.

    i like this lineup 100% more than yesterday's lineup. I like the lineup. Would have liked to see Murton in the 6-hole and Mabry in the 7. That'd be the only thing I'd change.

    Anyone else starting to feel like the team pretty much has to bomb this year or Dusty is getting that extension?
