I don't know what you people are talking about. Not only did he pitch well in the playoffs for the WS winners, but he was also a Yankee. That makes him a proven winner who knows how to succeed at the highest level. His contract was completely worth the risk. Maybe we could get him in return for miller... /sarcasm, just in case

If only he had the grit and the scrap to play with heart and give it 110%, he'd be the best player in the league. Too bad he's just padding worthless stats during a 4-game losing streak. This wouldn't be happening if he were more like Jeter Christ.

wow. I remember 9-11-01 But I remember 10-14-03, so it's fresher, and there have been many more painful reminders ever since. Those google ads are ruining 13 percent of every page, but would they be as bad if I didn't hate the Cubs so much? And Celine Dion's face is worse than her music. Stupid cancer with no cures. Man, I think I'm gonna have to sleep on this. Maybe you should ask in the off-season. EDIT - I've been in the AF for 8 yrs and I'm learning to speak the Taleban's language right now, so at least I feel like it's in my power to somehow take a small bite out of terrorism. Between shutting off the TV and changing the station, I can block out Celine Dion and Carson Daly. And getting premium or installing that firefox noscript thing takes care of the google ads. That leaves cancer and the Cubs in a class of their own. I had to go Cubs, based on how the question was asked.

I couldn't stick around past the first inning. Aside from the Ramirez hr, I didn't miss anything and I'm glad I didn't sit through it. This is getting ridiculous. -
