Brilliant knee-jerk reaction. He's been great the last 3 years. He was dominant in his last 12 outings and all of June: 14 IP, 8 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 14 K, .71 WHIP, .64 ERA. He had one bad night pitching on his 3rd consecutive day. He also didn't have very much time between being told to get up and start warming to when he was brought in the game. I seem to remember Sammy having a few multi-HR games against the Rockies (hit 3 at least twice against them, I believe), and I think the last time the Cubs scored a run in every inning was in Coors Field as well.
